Here’s some info for you about the 2nd orchid order that we will receive later this week (About 75 BEAUTIFUL Orchids). We will receive some familiar favorites and quite a few orchids we have never offered before.
Let me tell you first about a purchase we made to give you the opportunity to acquire a Cattleya species that will thrive for you on our island at a great price. C. aclandiae 4N is a compact sized warm growing orchid that you NEED to add to your collection. It’s native to Brazil and it is prized for its fragrant long lasting flowers. It’s also a 4N specimen which means it has double the number of chromosomes giving it extra vigor and vitality. We had to purchase 20 of these orchids to be able to offer them to you for just $15 and to assure that many of you will be able to get one or two of these beauties. We don’t expect these Cats. to be in bloom but the will be robust healthy plants. Win and I both are going to add one of them to our collections.
We also have Den. Rainbow Dance. This is a first-time-offered twisty petal Phal-type Den. We just love the frilly lip. We expect it to produce multiple blooms each year.
We will also get 6 more Gram. scriptum Citrines. These are HUGE orchids climbing out of their 6” pots but we don’t think they will be in spike yet. (It’s just a but early in their flowering season.). We expect them to set spikes within the next 4-5 weeks. We are able to offer these spectacular orchids for the remarkable price of $40. The orchids will produce 3’-4’ flower spikes with dozens of long lasting bright green flowers.
We will also have dozens of many familiar favorites: Bc. Hamlyn’s Magic, Pcv. Key Lime Stars (one of my favorite hybrids), Ctna. Beverly’s Blush, Epidendrum Miracle Valley (often requested by our customers), Den. Sunny Vista with its striking star shaped creamy white flowers and Den Hamana Smiles.
