Blooming Catasetums!
Win and I have been growing these since March. We actually purchased 250 of these orchids. We received them in 3” plastic pots and we repotted them all into 4” clay pots. Then it was daily watering, weekly feedings, and lots of sun. Now these orchids are sending out flower spikes and starting to bloom. We should have blooming Catasetums for the next 2 months.

Home Again, Summer Slows, and What’s Next at EZ Greens Orchids.
While I was in Florida, I also made time to visit several large orchid nurseries near Orlando and had some great conversations with vendors like Krull-Smith and Ecuagenera. I was blown away by the quality and the variety in their collections. We’re considering doing some small “test” orders from each of them to see what our orchid friends on St. Croix think. The orchids may cost a bit more, but I think the quality will speak for itself.
